          FarmShare/CSA Updates 
          Capay Valley Farm Shop plans to update its FarmShare/CSA program in 2012. For example, in response to requests from program members, more fruit will be included in weekly CSA boxes. Be sure to review the complete list of exciting variations.

          CUESA: Saturday Farmers' Market 
          The Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture operates its largest Farmers' Market every Saturday from 8am - 2pm at the SF Ferry Building. The market not only features the freshest farm products and specialty food items, but also offers delicious breakfast and lunch options in addition to food demonstrations and culinary programs. Make a trip to the ferry building this Saturday to experience SF's finest food for yourself. Go with an empty stomach!

          San Francisco Food Bank 
          The SF Food Bank works with people and non-profits throughout the city to end hunger. This year, the Food Bank hopes to "distribute more than 45 million pounds of food." In the spirit of the new year, sign up to volunteer or donate to the San Francisco Food Bank and make your own dent in the effort to end hunger.
